Watching the world go by

September 1st, 2011

I love the countryside. I also love being near the sea.

On Saturday I did a pre-wedding shoot in Blackpool, so it was the ideal opportunity to play on the beach before heading home.

When Ian and I first met, he lived in Blackpool, so we spent many a day down on the beach.

But, these days, what with work and ‘life’ getting in the way, we don’t get as much time together as we would like…..

So on Saturday we took some time out and headed down to the beach…..

I love being by the sea. It helps me put things into perspective.

I gazed out towards the horizon and watched as the sea glistened in the sun, and people played in the sand…….

….and generally watched the world go by.

It felt nice to relax and switch off, without having that constant nagging of my never ending ‘to do’ list….

……and just act silly without a care in the world.

…..and then Ian just left me to my own devices as he sat and took in our surroundings.

……one more shot before we headed back to the car

WOW! Some VERY powerful images….especially the last one (rail tramtrack), and the heart in the sand…and the distant shot of people playing in the sand…and the…(well infact – ALL of them to be honest!)…..

Thanks Ste! Of course, I really wouldn’t recommend lying down on tram lines to get ‘the shot’!! xx
