Vintage styled bridal shoot…..Part I
I’ve done many shoots, where at the end of the day, I’ve gone home and said to Ian ‘That was the best shoot….EVER’! …..until the next shoot that it is. I’m pretty sure nearly every other photographer does the same thing.
But sometimes, certain shoots just blow you away….
It starts off small, but before you know it, it’s turned into something special. Like….really….special.
This was one of those shoots…..
It started off with Catherine (Ivy Clara Make-up and Styling) and I, talking about our next shoot. A bridal shoot. We’d borrow some dresses from Charlotte Balbier, and it would be really cool……
….within the next five minutes the shoot had taken on a life of it’s own. We were planning campervans and a venue. This shoot was going to rock!
We realised it was a really good opportunity to network with other people from the wedding industry, and before we knew it, there were 10 other suppliers involved!
The day itself was amazing. Everyone helped out where they could (thanks Laura & Stu!), and the shoot went without any problems! We got so carried away, it was dark by the time we finshed.
Thank you to Becky and Stuart – there should be a law against how good they both looked! ….and of course a big thank you to everyone else involved in the shoot who made it possible; I hope I get to work with you all again soon.

Lovely to see the beautiful ‘Garbo’ looking fabulous in this shoot. Amazing how many of our brides gasp in delight when they see just how gorgeous this gown is when its on.
