Alternative bridal shoot: Part I

August 27th, 2012

On a very rainy and miserable day in June, I got together with some fantastic people and we created a shoot that was simply amazing!

Make-up artist Leanne McEntee and I had been planning a photoshoot since January, but before we knew it, days had turned into weeks, and weeks into months! Weโ€™d been planning a pretty substantial bridal shoot, but due to our workload the co-ordination of the shoot was starting to prove difficult; so in the meantime we decided to put together a smaller more manageable shoot. But two days before the shoot we were hit with torrential rain. Panic set in!

….we had to change the style of the shoot and also the location, to prevent the wedding dresses from getting trashed! Instead of a woodland shoot, we changed it to an urban shoot, and headed to Castlefield to take advantage of the shelter that was available.

Leanne’s make-up was flawless and model Chloe looked absolutely stunning!

Leanne also got Jen on board from Moo Boutique, and she turned up with bags full of goodies to help style the shoot with. How cool are those wings?! ๐Ÿ™‚

We were also very lucky that landlord Alex at The Ox pub, gave us a room as a base due to the weather. Alex and his staff were so accommodating – without them I donโ€™t think this shoot could have gone ahead. So we owe them a massive thank you! They also served us some super yummy food!

A big thank you also goes to Vicky from Hearts and Flowers who provided us with one of the most gorgeous bouquets I have EVER seen…..

A massive thank you goes out to everyone who made this shoot possible:
Hair and Make-up: Leanne McEntee-Ward
Styling: Jen Mckenna Whyte at Moo Boutique
Model: Chloe Harvey
Dresses: Nicola and Charlotte at Charlotte Balbier
Flowers: Vicky at Hearts and Flowers
Dry accommodation and yummy food: Alex and his team at The Ox

…..look out for part II next week

Happy (Bank Holiday) Monday ! ๐Ÿ™‚
