Why is it when you need important documents you can never find them? Even though you know you always keep them in a certain place. Last Friday saw me and Ian turning the house upside down and going through everything at least 4 times each – we still didn’t find what we were looking for……
I’d had a particularly bad day last Saturday. I went out in the morning then came home and put chilling pants and comfy bedtime socks on. Ian insisted I should get dressed and that we go out instead. We did, but later that day still feeling sorry for myself, I decided I needed a full garlic bread all to myself for tea instead of sharing one like we normally do. I can’t describe how much I love garlic bread – last weekend it was my ultimate comfort food.
….an unexpected Indian take-away! Nom, nom, nom. Ste and I went to pick it up and they offered us a complimentary drink. We declined as our food was already ready; they gave us some to take out instead. Not being a big drinker, I let Ste have it
Ian hadn’t been very well so it was down to me to cook tea. Yikes. No pressure then. I’m crap at cooking so Ian had to give me step-by-step instructions on what to do. It turned out okay and I was pretty pleased with myself. Apart from the fact that I ended up dropping one of my peppers which meant there was cous cous all over the inside of the oven door that I then needed to clear up…… Eugh….
On Tuesday afternoon I decided to get out my extension tubes, grab my orchid and have a play at some macro photography. I’m pretty pleased with the way some of the images turned out….
Ian and I took the afternoon off to go the cinema, followed by tea at Tampopo and a trip to Starbucks at the end of the night.
I’m still felting. This is my latest creation! An applique birdy….
This week has pretty much been dedicated to marketing. After getting to grips with InDesign over the past couple of weeks, this week has been spent designing various flyers and PDF booklets.
