A couple of weeks ago, I headed over to Lyme Park to meet Lucy and Barry for their pre-wedding shoot. In the days running up to the shoot we had been treated to some lovely sunny weather along with clear blue skies. Rubbing my hands together as if creating a cunning plan, I arranged an evening shoot so that we could make the most of the hazy evening sunshine and beautiful orange skies. In theory it was brilliant, in reality my plan didn’t quite work out like that, as the one thing us photographers can’t control is the weather. In the end we moved the shoot to the afternoon as the weather wasn’t looking too good. We may not have had the sun we were all hoping for, but we still managed to have a lovely afternoon drinking coffee, chatting about the wedding details and of course wandering around Lyme Park taking photos.
Lucy and Barry have been together for 9 years and met while both working as holiday reps. Lucy was looking after families and children, while Barry had the more extreme role of working on the 18-30′s holidays! I think Lucy is the most organised bride I’ve ever had and Barry has one of the most infectious laughs ever – I defy anyone not to smile or laugh in Barry’s company! I’m looking forward to shooting their wedding next month…..
