£50 portrait sessions throughout March
As a cold and miserable February draws to a close, March is set to welcome spring and hopefully some warmer, brighter weather! There is no better time to head outdoors and indulge yourself in a location portrait shoot. Whether it be at the seaside, your local park or up in the hills (I don’t mind a good walk!), get wrapped up and prepare yourself for some fun.
For the month of March, photoshoots will be £50 per session including a 12 x 8″ print of your choice from the shoot.

*Includes 2 people max. Additional people can be added for £15 each. Travel within 30 miles of Warrington is included, anything outside of this area will be charged at 40 pence per mile.

On set for “Reverie”
It was January. It was cold. I’m thinking about -4. Indoors.
I pulled up at the shooting location and looked at it from the car.
Ian had warned me how cold it was, and if Ian thought it was cold – then it was cold! I had multiple layers on. I also had gloves, a hat AND ear muffs, but even though I had been pre-warned, nothing quite prepared me for when I got inside.

…..what have I been doing?!
My blog has always been a bit of an outlet really. It started out as a place where I could share what I was up to photography wise, and soon it grew into somewhere I also shared personal images and stories as well. I suppose some people would describe it as online therapy!
In short – I love blogging and sharing what I’ve been up to. Just lately though, I’ve not had the time to keep up with it as I’ve been too busy. Which isn’t a bad thing – so I really can’t complain! But, as I sat today ploughing through my editing backlog, I realised how much I’ve missed it. That outlet of sharing what I’m doing.
So….while I try and get my workload under control, I thought I would give you a preview of whats to come over the next few weeks:

Cuddling up close to keep warm…….
Chasing each other through fields…..
Giving piggy backs and acting the fool…..
Snuggling up close, just because you can….

Some swans, a handwarmer, and self-portraiture #fail
In cold weather, I’ve been known to wear two pairs of gloves when going out shooting. However, any photographer will know that this really isn’t practical! Not to be a total girl or anything, but I always get really cold fingers…..
…..So, my day started out with Ian showing me how to use my new Zippo handwarmer ———->
He bought it for me the other week, to take out with me on days I’m shooting in the cold….and when it’s not in use, I stick it in my pocket to generate heat and keep me warm

December family photoshoot
….one very cold day (28th Dec 2011 to be exact), I headed over to Smithills Country Park for a family shoot with Ann, Alan, Elliot and Oliver.
