So here we are, 2012 is drawing to a close which can only mean one thing – my end of year review. I’ve had an amazing year and I’ve had the pleasure of working with some fantastic people on a range of equally fantastic projects. I’ve made some lovely new friends, and not just on Facebook and Twitter but in real life too! I know! I’ve also had the opportunity to be part of some amazing weddings and I’ve met some truly brilliant people. If I could high five everyone I’ve had the pleasure of working with this year, I would. But you’ll all have to settle for a virtual chest bump instead! Thanks for a brilliant year – I’m looking forward to working on some new projects in 2013 ! In no particular order, here is my year in images……Filed under: Commercial, Engagement, Fashion, Music, Personal, Photography, Pre-Wedding, Prom, Theatre, Weddings | Comments Off
I LOVE shooting stills for film. There’s nothing quite like the buzz of being on set. Back in September I shot the production stills for a feature film trailer called ‘The Final Haunting’. The building where we shot was a bit spooky and apparently haunted – which was quite apt really! The upper part of the building hadn’t been refurbished yet so it was all in darkness – it was a bit eery but nothing particularly scary. Although I’m pretty sure if I had come face to face with anything I might have changed my mind . Hopefully the film should be going into production pretty soon – I’ll keep you posted.Filed under: Film & TV, Photography | Comments Off

Throughout his course, I had heard stories about one of his lecturers, John Wood. Ian would come home telling me all about him, his stories, and of course John’s experience within the TV industry.
So when I was heading over to the college that night, I was slightly Read more »Filed under: Film & TV, Photography | Comments Off

On Tuesday I took part in a photoshoot for a secret new wedding venue in Manchester. It’s such an amazing place and I can’t wait for it to be launched – Eeeeek!! But for now, here’s some sneaky peeks of the shoot….Filed under: Film & TV, Personal, Personal Ramblings, Weddings | Comments Off
It was January. It was cold. I’m thinking about -4. Indoors.
I pulled up at the shooting location and looked at it from the car.
Ian had warned me how cold it was, and if Ian thought it was cold – then it was cold! I had multiple layers on. I also had gloves, a hat AND ear muffs, but even though I had been pre-warned, nothing quite prepared me for when I got inside.
I was shooting stills Read more »Filed under: Film & TV, Photography |
