Headshots {Lisa-Mary}

March 29th, 2013

I first met Lisa back in December 2012 when I was shooting stills for The Rise and Fall of Little Voice, she was so full of energy and enthusiasm. Shortly afterwards Lisa contacted me to book in for some headshots.

The session was really relaxed, which is key when having a photoshoot done, and I think it’s safe to say that Lisa’s personality shines through on these photos – she has such an amazing and infectious smile! We did a mix of indoor studio shots, and outdoor shots – here are a few of my favourites from the day….

If you’d like to book in for a headshot session, please get in touch. Prices start from £99

Business headshots {Roberts Steel Hairdressing}

January 25th, 2013

Last week I headed over to Preston to shoot some business headshots for the team at Roberts Steel Hairdressing. We had a brew and a chat while all the girls ran round doing their hair and make-up preparing for their close up! It was all very relaxed – which is how it should feel when having your photo taken.

Business headshots are a fantastic way to help promote your business and make it more approachable. It gives potential clients the chance to see your team of friendly faces before they even pick up the phone to call you.

For a shoot at your chosen location, prices start from £85. Please contact me for further information or to discuss your requirements: hello@lrobertsphoto.co.uk or 07583 230648

…..something different

December 3rd, 2012

Back in February I did an urban portfolio shoot which you can see here. At the time I had also been wanting to experiment with something a bit edgier than my usual style and Kez was more than willing to help me out. I had been looking at photography within the music industry and how the background plays such an important part in a photo; I wanted to have a play with my editing too and do something quite far removed from my usual style. Here is the outcome…..

Property Photography

October 31st, 2012

One thing I don’t always blog about is commercial work. I’m not too sure why – perhaps because it seems quite far removed from my other work. But today, I thought I would share some of that work with you. I have a diploma in Interior Design, so it’s only fitting that property photography is a part of my portfolio. I get involved in various projects ranging from renovation work, to new build properties to luxury hotel rooms. Below is just a small selection.

If you require any photography to showcase your property, whether you are a construction company, a hotel manager, or a home owner looking to sell or rent your house, please get in touch for a quote. Tel: 07583 230648 or Email: info@lrobertsphoto.co.uk

Fabulous boudoir photography….

October 9th, 2012

Having a boudoir shooot is one of the most liberating experiences a woman can have. First of all, it gives you an excuse to go shopping and buy some amazing new lingerie, then, not only do you have a fabulous photoshoot, but you also get your hair and make-up professionally done.

If you’re a little nervous – please don’t worry – there’s no rush, and you will be given clear directions to make sure you get the very best out of your body shape.

Whether you want to surprise someone special or you just want to do it for yourself, a boudoir shoot is the perfect way to show off your femininity.

Nichola and Dave: Wedding Day

October 1st, 2012

Back in August, Nichola and Dave got married at St Hildas Roman Catholic church in Tottington. Nichola and her bridesmaids all looked stunning, and they arrived in style by horse-drawn carriage! I’d just like to thank Sue Westwood-Ruttledge for asking me to shoot with her, we had a fab day.

Andrea & John: Pre-wedding shoot

September 24th, 2012

There’s nothing I like better than getting out in the countryside, rambling up hills and taking in breathtaking sights. On Tuesday, I got to do just that with two amazing people – Andrea and John.  They met 10 years ago, and in November they’re getting married at a gorgeous country house barn 🙂 For their pre-wedding shoot we headed to one of their favourite places, The Cloud at Congleton, where we were met with strong winds and an amazing view!
