…..I’m so behind with my 365 project – it’s taken me ages to hunt down all photos and sort them all out. I keep telling myself I’ll upload each photo at the end of the day, only it’s not working out like that! …..to the point that I’ve lost a photo! I think I formatted my card and then used it again – repeatedly – so I can’t even recover it……
Day 79 – Indian:
Saturday night is normally movie night, so Ian, Ste and I headed out to pick up an Indian take-away. We ended up staying for a full sit down meal instead. It was super yummy!Filed under: Personal, Photo A Day | Comments Off
Day 71 – Health:
Natural Health magazine. I bought this for the first time a couple of weeks back. With all my ailments, I’m much more aware these days of being kind to my body. I think I drove Ian a bit mad by discovering interesting (to me) articles and then repeatedly saying ‘Ian, listen to this….’, and then continuing to read out loud to himFiled under: Personal, Personal Ramblings, Photo A Day, Photography | Comments Off
I intended on posting this last weekend, but I was having some issues with my blog – better late than never though, eh?
Day 59 – Exploring:
It was one of those Sundays where Ian and I were both feeling a bit yucky, so we decided to head out for a walk and a bit of an explore. There’s a building I discovered last month and on Sunday I finally got to go and take a look…. One thing I should remember about my 365 project is that I need to stay organised! I’ve been taking photos and telling myself I’ll upload them later that day….. only I get distracted, and before I know it I’ve got photos on two different cameras and on my phone. Yesterday it took me nearly two hours to sort everything out. Note to self: stay on top of 365 project!
Saturday night movie. We’ve never seen ‘The Thing’ before, but it’s been highly recommended on a number of occasions. It was okay – but I found myself giggling in a few places due to the special effects. It’s hard to imagine anything like that these days….

Mum and Dad had everyone over for Mothers Day. Smudgie has a towel near the back door for when he comes in out of the rain, he runs straight onto it and waits for someone to dry him – it’s normally my Dad. He gets dried off, has his paws dried and then he gets wrapped up in the towel – which he loves! He lies there for ages getting fussed, and if you stop the fussing, he meows at you and taps your arm with his paw until you continue……Filed under: Personal, Photo A Day, Photography | Comments Off
I’ve been trying to think of a name for my 365 project, and the only thing I’ve come up with so far is ‘……a year in the life of….’. I’m not sure if that’s a bit optimistic though seeing as I didn’t complete the last project….
….here are days 23 to 28:
A Saturday night of Toy Story 2, garlic bread, pizza and Skyfall = happy LR I saw Skyfall at the cinema and was in complete awe of it. I thought the cinematography was amazing – I loved it even more the second time around.

….still going strong, and I’m quite enjoying the challenge so far!
I have an orchid that has been lying dormant for months – the buds are finally here though, so I’m hoping they’ll properly flower any day now!Filed under: Headshots, Photo A Day, Photography, Portfolio, Theatre | Comments Off
………okay, so far, so good – up to yesterday, my 365 project was still going strong . I just need a better name for it…..
Anyway……here are days 4 to 16. You can see days 1 to 3 here.

Like many other photographers, I’ve tried (and failed) to do a ’365 project’. I managed to reach day 238 and then I just gave up – it became a bit of a chore, and I found that missing days and then trying to catch up kind of defeated the object of taking a photo a day. Recently I’ve been wanting to start something again, so here goes, attempt number two at a ’365 project’. I’m hoping in time I manage to come up with a more original name, but one thing at a time eh?!
When I look out of the bedroom window in a morning I’m greeted with the reflection of my house in the rear window of my car. There’s something about it I just like…..Filed under: Personal, Photo A Day | Comments Off
